China imposes sanctions on US military-industrial companies

China has imposed sanctions on military-industrial companies and senior officials of the United States.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China has announced sanctions against several companies and individuals in the United States due to their involvement in arms supplies to Taiwan. The sanctions came into force on October 10.

These individuals and entities have added to the PRC’s sanctions list:

  • Edge Autonomy Operations LLC. This company is a leader in providing innovative autonomous systems, advanced optics, and resilient energy solutions to the US Department of Defense;
  • Huntington Ingalls Industries Inc.;
  • Skydio Inc. Skydio is an American manufacturer of drones headquartered in San Mateo, California.;
  • Steven Roger Rudder;
  • James William Ickes II;
  • David Keith Sutton;
  • Yeong-Tae Pak;
  • Patrick Edward Jankowski;
  • John Purvis;
  • Josh Brungardt;
  • Christopher Douglas Kastner;
  • Adam Bry;
  • Tom Moss.
