The Australian government sanctions the directors of Iran’s aerospace industry

The Australian Government has imposed financial sanctions on several Iranian individuals for their participation in Iran’s missile program. On October 1, Iran launched over 180 ballistic missiles against Israel. The Iranian missile program poses a significant threat to international security, stated the Australian Government.

To counter this threat, the Australian government has designated five people for targeted financial sanctions: Nader Khoon Siavash, Seid Mir Ahmad Nooshin, Seyed Javad Mousavi, Mohammad Gholami, and Amir Radfar.

Two directors and a senior official from Iran’s Aerospace Industries were also included in these sanctions.
