Poland has added Minija Sp. z o.o. to its sanctions list

According to the Ministry of the Interior and Administration of Poland, Minija Sp. z o.o. participated in supplying tractors and semi-trailers to Russia.

The company was founded in 2012 and its real beneficiary is Lithuanian citizen Mindaugas Rachkauskas.

The ministry claims that the company circumvents sanctions by exporting tractors and trailers to the Russian Federation through intermediaries in countries such as Uzbekistan, Turkey and Belarus. Tractors and trailers sold to these countries eventually end up in Russia where they are registered under Russian law.

The company is registered in Poland with an address at Adama Mickiewicz Street 33 in Puńsk, 16-515.
