OFAC sanctions Beijing-based company supporting malicious cyber group

The Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) imposed sanctions on Integrity Technology Group Incorporated (IntegrityTech), a Beijing-based company. OFAC stated Integrity Tech was linked to a malicious cyber group known as Flax Typhoon.

“Between summer 2022 and fall 2023, actors associated with FlaxTyphoon used infrastructure tied to IntegrityTech during their network exploits against multiple victims,” said OFAC.

Flax Typhoon compromised computer networks in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia, with particular focus on Taiwan.

In 2023, Microsoft released a blog post stating that Flax Typhoon had gained long-term access to the networks of Taiwanese organizations using minimal malware and relying on system tools.

Integrity Tech address in Beijing: Room 103, Building 6, No. 9, Fenghao East Road, Haidian District. The company was founded in 2010 and its website is www.integritytech.com.
