The Swiss Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research (EAER) has announced that it added eight organizations related to the situation in Ukraine to the sanctions list on April 23rd, 2025.
Judging by the documents published by the department, all eight of these organizations are Russian media:
- NewsFront;
- Lenta; Fondsk;
- Easily / Eurasia Daily;
- RuBaltic;
- South Front;
- Strategic Culture Foundation;
- Krasnaya Zvezda / Tvzvezda.
Thus, Switzerland has joined the EU’s sanctions against these media outlets.
