UK banned the export to Russia of game console controllers

The UK has banned the export to Russia of game console controllers, which, according to its data, are used to pilot drones on the front line in Ukraine.

In total, the new package of sanctions announced by the British Embassy contains 150 trade sanctions against the Russian Federation.

The UK is also blocking access to technologies, including software for the search and operation of new oil and gas wells.

“Today we are using all our capabilities to increase pressure on the Russian military machine, save the lives of Ukrainians and protect British businesses from cynical Russian exploitation,” said Stephen Doughty, Minister of State for Europe
