UK lifted sanctions against a Russian banker from an arms corporation

The UK has lifted sanctions against a Russian banker from an arms corporation.

Thee Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office of the United Kingdom announced the lifting of sanctions against Russian German Valentinovich Belous (Белоус Герман Валентинович ). He was sanctioned in 2022 as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Novikombank.

Novikombank is the main bank of the Rostec state Corporation, which deals with armaments. The corporation operates in almost all branches of the military-industrial complex, including aircraft manufacturing, production of armored vehicles, artillery systems, precision-guided weapons and ammunition, and small arms.

German Belous was born on November 14, 1977. In 2000, he graduated from the Military University of Finance and Economics with a degree in Finance and Credit. After graduation, he served in military unit No. 62467 until August 2003. He also began his career there as Deputy Chief Accountant– Deputy Head of the aviation base Service.
