UK Office for the Implementation of Financial Sanctions (OFSI) has stated that Irina Vladimirovna Chubarva was removed from the sanctions list.
Previously, she was on the sanctions list as : Head of Corporate Finance for Gazprom Neft. The sanctions were imposed on May 1st, 2nd and 3rd. The justification for these sanctions was that Irina Chubarova had participated in obtaining a benefit from or supporting the Government of Russia by working as a manager or equivalent of Gazprom Neft, which is a government affiliated entity carrying on business in a sector of strategic significance to the Government of Russia (the Russian energy & extractives sector).
There is no information about Irina Chubarova in the Russian media. Only one article mentions her as the Head of Corporate Development at Gazprom Neft.
