Ukraine imposed sanctions against Russian oil companies and ex-Tele2

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, by his decrees No. 870/2025 and No. 871/2025 of November 29, imposed sanctions against 36 individuals and 39 entities in Russia.

According to Vladimir Zelenskyy, Ukraine has synchronized its sanctions against Russia with those of the US. Therefore, the Russian oil companies Rosneft, Lukoil and their subsidiaries were added to the sanctions list of Ukraine.

The companies of the T2 mobile operator, T2 Mobile LLC and its founder, T2 RTK Holding, were also sanctioned. Previously, T2 was called Tele 2. Since February 2020, the company has been controlled by Rostelecom PJSC, headed by Mikhail Oseevsky.

According to Ukrainian media, the individuals against whom Zelenskyy imposed sanctions are associated with the Rubicon Center for Advanced Unmanned Technologies of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Rubicon trains UAV military instructors. Rubicon also develops robotics systems.
