On August 16, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, signed Decree No. 599/2025 imposing sanctions on 55 legal entities and 39 individuals. Among the sanctioned legal entities, there are 10 Chinese companies and the rest are from Russia.
The companies sanctioned include Russian manufacturers of military drones and anti-aircraft systems:
- JSC “Military Engineering Corporation” is engaged in creating and operating rocket and space complexes;
- NPO Topol-Unmanned Technologies LLC produces unmanned aerial vehicles like FPV drones;
- Kilowatt Scientific Production Association LLC is a Lipetsk-based company that develops and manufactures protective equipment against drones. Kilowatts are the only official manufacturers and developers of electronic warfare hood stations, which are installed on military vehicles and equipment to detect and attack drones.
