The United States has criticized EU sanctions against Israeli ministers.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio criticized the sanctions imposed by the United Kingdom, Canada, Norway, New Zealand, and Australia on June 10 against Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, who were accused of aggression against the Palestinians in the West Bank.
Foreign Ministers of Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Norway, and the United Kingdom declared that Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotritch have incited extreme violence and serious abuse of Palestinian human rights. Other way, the US has another opinion.

“These sanctions do not advance U.S.-led efforts to achieve a ceasefire, bring all hostages home, and end the war. We reject any notion of equivalence: Hamas is a terrorist organization that committed unspeakable atrocities, continues to hold innocent civilians hostage, and prevents the people of Gaza from living in peace. We remind our partners not to forget who the real enemy is. The United States urges the reversal of the sanctions and stands shoulder-to-shoulder with Israel,” stated Marco Rubio.
