The President of Ukraine imposed new sanctions on companies from Russia, China, and Iran, as well as on individuals.
On May 9th, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed decree No.301/2025, which introduced personal economic sanctions against 58 individuals, including the heads and co-owners of companies in Russia. Appendix No.1 to this decree lists these individuals.
Appendix No 2 contains information about the 74 companies sanctioned by the Ukrainian government, including:
- Joint-Stock Company IIC “Finval (equipment for factories),
- Joint-Stock Company Optical Mechanical Design Bureau Astron (thermal imaging optics),
- Samara Metallurgical Plant (largest producer of aluminum semi-finished products).
Also on the list are three companies from Iran: Alvand Motor Building Industries Company, Bonyan Danesh Shahr, and Pishro Sanat Asheman Sharif. There is also a company from China, Smart Kit Technology Limited, and a company based in Belarus, Joint Limited Liability Company Izotek-M.
