On August 3. President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, signed three decrees imposing sanctions. Decree No. 578/2025 imposed sanctions on 94 individuals from five Russian companies. Three of these companies are associated with Sovcomflot, Russia’s largest shipping company: LLC SKF EKO, LLC SKF Prirazlomnoe and LLC SKF TM LLC.
Decree No. 579/2025 added 23 companies and 39 people to the list of sanctioned individuals. Dneprorudny Iron Ore Combine, Donskaya Export, Gulf & Eastern Food Trading SPC (Oman), and Adamz Grain (Egypt) were all included in the sanctions.
By Decree No. 580/2025, Vladimir Zelenskyy imposed sanctions on 15 individuals, including Roman Kovrikov, the Director General of the State Museum-Reserve “Peterhof”; Evgeny Garkushev, a Russian science fiction writer; and Yuri Komlev, the director of the Orenburg State Museum of Fine Arts.
