Zelenskyy imposes sanctions on Russian children’s organizations

On June 10, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed Decree No. 395/2025 imposing sanctions.

The list of sanctioned individuals includes 48 citizens of Russia and Ukraine as well as nine legal entities.

These entities have been sanctioned:

  • Federal State Budget Educational Institution “International Child Center “Artek”. Artek is a children’s center on the southern coast of Crimea. In Soviet times, it was the most famous pioneer camp in the USSR and was considered the hallmark of the country’s pioneer organization,
  • All-Russian Public-State Movement of Children and Youth “Movement of the First”. This children’s organization is under the personal supervision of the President of Russia,
  • Regional branch of the All-Russian Public-State Movement of Children and Youth “Movement of the First” in the Kherson Region,
  • Regional Branch of All-Russian Public State Organization “Voluntary Society for Assistance to the Army, Aviation and Fleet of Russia of the City of Sevastopol”,
  • Autonomous Non-Profit Organization “Center for Humanitarian and Cultural Initiatives “Rassvet”,
  • Federal State Budget Educational Institution of Higher Education “Melitopol State University”,
  • Autonomous Non-Profit Organization of Supplementary Professional Education “Marine Innovation Center of the Regional Branch of All-Russian Public State Organization “Voluntary Society for Assistance to the Army, Aviation and Fleet of Russia of the City of
  • Sevastopol”,All-Russian Public Organization of Marines “Typhoon”,
  • All-Russian Public-Government Enlightenment Organization “Russian “Znanie” Society”.
