Zelenskyy sanctions the Russian minister and textbook publishers

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy imposed sanctions against five companies and eight individuals in Russia by signing two decrees: No. 834/2025 and No. 835/2025.

Companies involved in publishing books and textbooks have been sanctioned:

  • LLC Book world;
  • LLC Veche Publishing House;
  • LLC Publishing House Tsentrpoligraf;
  • LLC Yauza Publishing House;
  • LLC Piter Publishing House.

Seven Russian citizens and one citizen of Ukraine have been sanctioned:

  • Bugaev Aleksandr, First Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation;
  • Dmitriev Kirill, CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF);
