Aleksandr Lukashenko

Alexander Lukashenko, President of Belarus. He was born on August 30, 1954 in the urban settlement of Kopys in the Orsha district of the Vitebsk region of the Byelorussian SSR. Before starting his political career, he worked as a director of a state farm and served in the Border Troops of the KGB of the USSR.
