Court of Justice of the European Union

The Court of Justice of the European Union is an institution of judicial power of the European Union. It was founded in 1952 and was called the Court of the European Coal and Steel Community (since 1958 — the Court of the European Communities). With the entry into force of the Lisbon Treaty, the court changed its name to the current one in 2009.
