Japan imposes sanctions on four Israeli settlers

The Japanese government has imposed sanctions on four Israelis involved in violent actions against Palestinians in the West Bank.

The Chief Cabinet Secretary, Yoshimasa Hayashi, said that Japan would continue to implement these asset freeze measures and urge the Israeli government to freeze settlement activities with the international community, including G7 countries.

Sanctions of this kind have also been imposed by the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States.

These individual have been sanctioned by the Japan’s government:

  • Yinon Levi, DOB 19.12.1992;
  • Zvi Bar Yosef, DOB 20.09.1992;
  • Moshe Sharvit, DOB 13.11.1994;
  • Neriya Ben Pazi, DOB 28.11.1993.
