The German prosecutor charges two individuals for exporting to the Russian military

The German Federal Prosecutor reported charges against two individuals, Waldemar W and Natalie S., who illegally exported electronic components to Russian military entities between 2020 and 2023. 

According to the prosecutor’s statement, Waldemar W and Natalie S.organized two companies in the states of Saarland and Baden-Württemberg in Germany. 

Some of the electronic components were used in Russia to manufacture UAVs, “Orlan 10”, which are designed to monitor objects in difficult-to-reach areas under all weather conditions.

“Orlan 10” weighs approximately 10 kilograms and is equipped with an ejector launch system that can transmit a video signal to an operator’s console in real-time at distances of up to 120 kilometers, while remaining airborne for more than 10 hours.
