The co-founder of the Russian company EFO Ltd., which is one of the leading suppliers of electronic components and industrial automation systems in Russia and was sanctioned by Ukraine, achieved in an arbitration court to exclude the Cyprian co-founder from the company’s list of founders.
EFO Ltd. has been distributing electronic components on the Russian market since 1991 and specializes in the supply of semiconductor, fiber optic components, factory automation systems, electromechanical components, machine control systems, wireless solutions and components for power electronics. Its clients include numerous Russian manufacturers of telecommunications and banking equipment, measurement and control systems, medical equipment and automotive electronics. In 2021, the company’s revenue exceeded 1.9 billion rubles.
Currently, according to information systems, the company is on the sanctions list of Ukraine.
The members of the company include: Leonid Kazmin, with a share of 14% in the authorized capital, and Cyprus-based Concour Holding Limited, with 66% of shares. Another 20% belongs to the company itself.
According to a court decision, Leonid Kazmin applied to the arbitration court in St. Petersburg to exclude the Cyprus company from the list of founders. The reason was that Concour Holding did not attend two general meetings in April 2019. At the same time, Concour was notified about the meetings and informed the court that it “does not recognize the claim” and “does not want to participate in management” of the company.
Eventually, the arbitration court sided with Kazmin and excluded Concour Holding from EFO members.
