Oleg Nayandin and Vitaly Borisenko, heads of Eleview International Inc., are accused of creating three schemes to supply sanctioned goods from the United States to Russia. They appeared in court in the Eastern District of Virginia.
According to the Department of Justice of the US, Oleg Nayadin was the owner and president of Eleview. He oversaw the company’s forwarding business. Eleview provided services for ordering goods from the USA and supplying them to Russia via Finland, Turkey, and Kazakhstan.
In one of the schemes with Turkey, defendants exported telecommunication equipment worth about $1.48 million to a fake buyer in Turkey, knowing that it was intended for a Russian company that provides services to the government and FSB.
Through Finland, the company supplied electronic components to Russia, which were found in Russian kamikaze drones that were used to destroy Ukrainian tanks and aircraft.
If Nayandin and Borisenko are found guilty, they face a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
