U.S. removes several entries related to Russia from its sanctions list

The United States has removed several entries related to Russia from its sanctions list.

The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced the removal of the following entries from the sanctions list:

  • The Flying Fox yacht, worth about $455 million, which was detained in the Dominican Republic due to possible connections with Russian businessman Dmitry Kamenshchik, the chairman of Moscow Domodedovo Airport and the sole shareholder of Moscow Domodovo Airport;
  • Swiss citizen Inga Rettich, who was a director at Bonum Capital Cyprus Ltd., which itself is under sanctions. Bonum Capital invests in various asset classes and, in 2023, received permission from the Russian authorities to deal with minority stakes in four public companies owned by Gazprom, Lukoil, Norilsk Nickel and Inter RAO.
