Russia has imposed sanctions on Daimler Truck AG.
The Russian Prime Minister, Mikhail Mishustin, has signed a decree, including the German company, Daimler Trucks AG, in the list of entities subject to special measures approved by the Government of the Russian Federation on May 11th, 2022.
According to this document, it is prohibited to make transactions with companies from the list, to fulfill obligations to them under completed transactions (including concluded foreign trade contracts). In addition, it is prohibited to carry out financial transactions for which the beneficiaries are companies from the list.

Daimler Truck develops and manufactures trucks and buses marketed under the following brands: Freightliner, Thomas Built Buses, Western Star, Mercedes-Benz, Fuso, BharatBenz, Rizon, and Setra.
The company employs more than 100,000 employees at over 40 locations in North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
Following the outbreak of Russia’s war against Ukraine, on February 27, 2022, Daimler Truck suspended all business operations in Russia until further notice.
