In the Netherlands, four people are suspected of violating sanctions and helping Russia.
According to the Dutch Fiscal Information and Investigation Service (FIOD), two executives and two managers of a company engaged in the wholesale supply of ship parts were arrested on July 1.
The Rotterdam-based company is suspected of supplying goods and services that violate European sanctions against Russia,
and it is assumed that they are also involved in supporting ships belonging to the so-called “Russian shadow fleet”.
FIOD has conducted searches of the suspects’ offices and homes, seized physical and digital media, and about 65,000 euros in cash. The investigation is being conducted by the prosecutor’s office.
