Photographs of passports and offices – everything about North Korean hackers appeared in the report of the Multilateral Sanctions Monitoring Team (MSMT) on sanctions against the DPRK.
In May 2025, the group presented the first report on military cooperation between the DPRK and Russia.
The second report, which was published recently, describes the links between the DPRK’s UN-listed organizations and the DPRK’s cyber activities, including cryptocurrency theft, fraudulent work in the field of information technology and cyber espionage.
The Multilateral Sanctions Monitoring Team (MSMT) was established in October 2024 to monitor UN sanctions against the DPRK. Currently, the group includes 11 countries, including the USA, Canada, Great Britain, and Germany.
